I Like...

Most of the blogs that I came across were a lot of the same thing. I don't blame the writers though because I think that this is a great forum to release your thoughts about, well...anything. I guess I still enjoy that "old school" kind of mentality of writing everything down in my journal.

Oh well.

Anyway, I came across two blogs that I liked because they weren't like the hundred others I saw. The first one was: http://examinekey.blogspot.com/. First of all, at first sight, the blog doesn't look like the many others I've seen. The graphic, font and layout look much like a comic book so it caught my eye right away. Also, I liked this because it used Blogger in a way that I haven't seen before. The creator allows his viewers to create and control a fictional story by submitting postings to control what to protaganist does next in the story. The creator also has another blog that provides background information on "examinekey" and "how to play the game". It was great to stumble upon this because it reminds me of the adventure books I used to read when I was a kid. I don't quite remember the name but the novel was written in a way that you could control the adventure of the protaganist by selecting one of two chapters to read at certain parts in the story; depending on which chapter you selected, it would take the protaganist on a different type of adventure. This blog is based similarly along these lines and I think it's a fantastically creative project using a simple blog like this. Kudos to that guy.

Secondly, I found my wedding photographer. I'm not engaged yet but I'm glad I came across this site because I think the photographer, Dan, is incredibly intelligent and has fabulous perspective. Here it is: http://www.lifeinaflashphotography.blogspot.com/. He's someone who really knows how to tell a story without saying a word. The blog is simple and I really liked what he wrote at the top of the page - about documenting moments and projecting them through different mediums. I think it's a great way for amateur photographers to get their photos "out there" and allow others to view and comment on them. He added photostories of the weddings he recently shot which are absolutely great. Again, I was really impressed seeing someone use a simple blog in such a creative way. That, and he takes amazing pictures too.

Just thought I'd let you know about a site where you can make over $800 a month in extra income. Go to this site   MAKE MONEY NOW  and put in your zip code..... up will pop several places where you can get paid to secret shop, take surveys, etc.  It's free.  I found several and I live in a small town!
